On August 25th, 2025, Bank of Mexico celebrated his 100 years of foundation with the release of a commemorative silver coin and the temporary issuance of commemorative banknotes of legal tenderThese items not only reinforce the cultural and economic value of the institution, but also become pieces of great interest to collectors and numismatic enthusiasts.

The coin minted by the Mexican Mint has a face value of 10 pesos, is manufactured in 0.999 pure silver, with a weight of 2 troy ounces (62.206 g) and a diameter of 48 mm.
- Obverse: presents the National Coat of Arms in sculptural relief, surrounded by different historical shields of Mexico and the representation of the eagle of the Codex Mendocino.
- Reverso: shows the main building of the Bank of Mexico, accompanied by the logo with the legend: “100. 1925-2025. BANK OF MEXICO”. In addition, on the edge it reads “CENTENNIAL OF THE FOUNDATION OF THE BANK OF MEXICO”, next to the name $10 and the mint Maestro from the Mint.
The broadcast is limited and will be available to the public through authorized distributors such as the Mexican Mint and the Interactive Museum of Economics.

In addition to the currency, the Bank of Mexico authorized the circulation of commemorative banknotes which retain their legal tender value. These include the legend on the obverse “100th Anniversary 1925-2025”, below the monogram and inscription Bank of Mexico.
These banknotes will circulate alongside existing ones and can be used as a means of payment throughout the country. They will also be available for exchange at face value at authorized banking institutions.
