The work on the reverse belongs to Lisa Thomson-Khan, a Canadian artist whose inspiration comes from the memory of his grandfather, a World War II veteran pilot awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism. On the obverse, the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, created by Steven Rosati.
